Studio trial privacy

Your trial and email

Studio uses an essential, secure session cookie for up to one year to remember your trial. We store a one-way keyed hash of your network address to limit abuse; we do not store your raw IP address in Studio records. Guest creations are limited by browser and network. Email verification links your allowance across devices. We store your verified email and creation history so logging in again does not reset the allowance. We send a verification code only when you ask for it, and do not subscribe you to marketing.

Scans, backgrounds and exports

We use the CGC Dealer API to retrieve the certificate data and scans you request. Only the label and artwork from the source scan are used in a digital holder. Uploaded backgrounds are stripped of metadata and expire after 24 hours. Expired backgrounds are removed on the next upload. Backgrounds and exports use unlisted, hard-to-guess links: anyone with the link can view them. Avoid uploading sensitive images. You choose whether to share a finished export.

Visits and feedback

We count a visit once per 30-minute browser session. We record the referring website’s domain, campaign source and campaign name if supplied, and the country supplied by our hosting provider. We do not record the referring page’s full URL or arbitrary query parameters. These records help us understand how people find Studio. Feedback and Instagram post links are visible to SlabTracked administrators. Share credits require review of a public post and its unique caption code.

Your choices

Email verification and Instagram sharing are optional. Contact info@slabtracked.com for access to or deletion of your Studio records. Trial usage records are retained to enforce the lifetime allowance. Clearing cookies does not create a new email allowance.
